  • "The Tell Tale Heart" By: Edgar Allan Poe
  • Hearken! Look how calmly I can tell you my story.
  • ZZZ
  • Enjoy the nightmares!
  • The narrator introduces himself. He introduces his story and tries proving he is no mad men.
  • I want a donut
  • Every night for 7 nights he would go into the old mans' room and would vehemently put his head through the crevice of the door, which took him an hour.
  • I DID IT! He is under the floor boards
  • On the 8th night, the man wakes up due to a noise the narrators makes. It is clear the old man lacks sagacity as he tries coming up with multiple explanations as to what the noise could have been. Finally the narrator pulls the man off the bed and suffocates him to death with the old mans mattress
  • 3 police men showed up at the mans door due to a supposition when the neighboring house claimed they heard a scream. The police simply asked to inspect the house. The narrator of course let them in. He then claims that it was just him screaming in his dreams and that the old man was out of the country.
  • As the cops start to enjoy themselves, the narrator starts to feel guilty and imagines he hears the beating of the dead old mans' heart. The narrator thought that the cops were onto him and making a derision. He couldn't bare the paint nor guilt and confessed.
