  • The Catholic Church sold indulgences in the late medieval period, and theirsale motivated Martin Luther to present his "95 Theses. He was not happy by what he saw and questioned the catholic church this question provided the basis for the Protestant Reformation.

  • 1522: Luther worked on translatting the bible from Lattin into German so fellow friends could read the bible and see what God actually wanted from them. The first testament was published in 1522 and his final copy was published in 1534. in 1521 luther appears in diet in front of Charles V of heresy.

  • In 1563 the 39 articles of the Church are first published for the Church of England, giving a summary of Anglican doctorine and pratice.
