Storyboard Text

  • Stop your settlers from moving west. This is our territory!
  • Stop raiding our camps and give us your land. You have no chance against us. Our army will kill all of you!
  • Clearly I am the better choice because I am a war hero, I was not born rich and worked hard in life, and I can yget you a government job.
  • Uuhhh... I'm rich. Oh, and I'm also an elite buisiness man.
  • Now that you all have your jobs, lets talk about politics.
  • Yay! I am president now. You can all have whatever government job you want. I will now overuse my power and veto many bills.
  • I will send troops into your state!
  • South Carolina threatened to secede from the Union after the Nullification crisis, and Jackson threatened to send troops to South Carolina to prevent this. South Carolina decided otherwise afterwards.
  • No more tariff of Abomination! Or else we will leave the country!
  • I don't care. I will veto the National Bank anyway. I think that the states should control the banks!
  • But... the National Bank is Constitutional.
  • President Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act in 1830. This forced many tribes off of their native lands. The travel to their new lands was nick named the trail of tears.
  • Keep moving!
  • But... we never agreed to this.
