Storyboard Text

  • Welcome to Pakistan. We are in Mohenjo-Daro, which is located next to India on the northwestern side. It is the largest city in the Indus River Valley Civilization.
  • Homes here are made out of mud brick baked in a kiln. Our houses also don't have windows facing the streets so that there isn't as much noise an dust.
  • We have sewers that carry the waste to the main sewer in the middle of the street. We have our own showers and toilets in our houses.
  • We have public bathes for everybody to use. We use the great bath to cleanse both psychically and spiritually.
  • We use seals to show possession and as receipts. We need to use them because only scribes can write their name, and not many people are scribes.
  • Traders bring the needed materials to the craftier and take the finished goods to trade. They may bring things like terracotta pots, beads, god and silver, gemstones and metals.
