Henry Hudson was born in the sixteenth century, he became a sailor trying to find a faster route to China.
On Henry Hudsons first and second trip on trying to find a shorter route to China he was met by ice and had to turn back.
We have to circumnavigate around this iceberg!!!
On Hudson's third voyage (this time on behalf of the Dutch East India company) this took place in 1609. This time he took a more southern route by reports of a possible channel across North America to the pacific. Hudson's ship then sailed up a great river that now bears his name, "The Hudson river"
On his 4th voyage undertaken for England in 1610-11, he found a large bay that is located in Canada, called the Hudson bay.
Hudson once in the bay he could not find an outlet so him and his son and a few crew members spent drifting for months, and eventually fell mutiny to his crew.
