  • Romeo, away, be gone! The citizens are up, and Tybalt slain.
  • Act 3 scene 2
  • Tybalt is gone, and Romeo banishèd. Romeo that killed him—he is banishèd.
  • Act 3 Scene 3
  • Ha, banishment! Be merciful, say “death,” For exile hath more terror in his look, Much more than death. Do not say “banishment.”
  • Romeo Kills Tybalt thus making him an outlaw.
  • Act 3 Scene 4
  • I will make a desperate tender Of my child’s love.
  • The Nurse informs Juliet about Tybalt's death and Romeo's punishment for murder.
  • Act 3 Scene 5
  • Get thee to church o' Thursday, Or never after look me in the face. Speak not. Reply not. Do not answer me.
  • Romeo has taken safe haven in the church and isn't taking his banishment very well.
  • Lord Capulet promises Paris that Juliet will marry him.
  • Lord Capulet gives Juliet an ultimatum of whether to leave and be disowned by him or marry Paris.
