Lakota Tribe Flooding Myth North America By: Tyler Sauer
From a world before our world was made humans didn't know how to act. That cause the creating power displeased and he sang a song to make it rain and it over flowed the rivers, lakes, and streams
Every living thing died by the flood besides a crow named Kangi. Kangi was getting tired of flying so he ask the great power to make some land for it to rest at.
The creating power need mud to created the land so, the creating power look through its bag and found four animals with good diving abilities. They are failed but one the turtle and with that mud the creating power made the land
Then the creating power says "Land without water is not good" and the creating power cried with its tears it made the ocean, rivers, lakes, and streams
The creating power made life and told the human that habbit the land once again that it kill the first world by flames and the second by floods and told them they should act like humans or they would loss this world as well
