Storyboard Text

  • Of Course, Monica. Come take a seat, and I'll teach you all about it.
  • Hi Mrs. Rose. Would you please teach me how the whole SOHCAHTOA thing works again?
  • SOHCAHTOA can be used to find a missing side or a missing angle measure in a right triangle.
  • That makes sense, but what does SOHCAHTOA actually stand for?
  • Ok, I think that makes sense. Could you please do an example?
  • The SOH part stands for sine opposite over hypotenuse. This means that in order to find the sine of an angle, you would have to find the value of the side that is opposite the angle and divide that by the value of the hypotenuse.
