Principle #1 Genetic Variation: The genetic variation within the guinea pig population is dark brown guinea pigs and tan guinea pigs.
Principle #2 Overproduction & the Struggle for Existence: Guinea pigs can have up to 8 pups, but due their fur color the coyote can eat the dark brown guinea pigs.
Principle #3 Differential Survival & Reproduction: The tan guinea pigs are having a better chance of survival and reproduction due to them being able to camouflage so that they don't get eaten.
Principle #4 Change In The Gene Pool: The more advantages of them being tan becomes more common.
