In 1800's early showings of fighting for women's suffrage and rights were started. One was Sarah Grimke who, in 1838, finished and published her pamphlett.

Some even spoke out in front of many against them. Sojourner Truth spoke out in 1827 giving her speech, "Ain't I a Women!" and spoke out for her rights.
