  • This is a representation of Waverly asking her brothers if she can play chess with them. At first, her brothers are hesitant, but when Waverly offers them lifesavers, they gladly accept.
  • This is a representation of Waverly practicing strategies for chess in her room. She had many strategies for her game, and she was very successful because of this.
  • This is a representation of Waverly playing in a chess tournament. Her opponent is a 15 year old boy from Oakland, in which she defeated.
  • This is a representation of Lindo Jong polishing Waverly's chess trophies. This was one way that she almost bragged about Waverly's success
  • This is a representation of Lindo Jong bragging about Waverly and her success in chess. Waverly became angry at her mother, and stormed out of the market.
  • This is a representation of Waverly telling her mother that she wants to play chess again. She quit in the first place because of her mother's constant bragging about her success.
