Storyboard Text

  • The Initial feeling of being at the Destination! Considering my family came from a very busy city they said, ''New Zealand at first felt very lonely and quiet because India was a very vibrant country''.  At first half of my family loved being in New Zealand. But the other half hated it. In India, my father would continuously be traveling and so my father found New Zealand perfect. Unfortunately, my mother didn't think this way.
  • While my father was out traveling in India my mother got the chance to get close to her family and friends for that extra couple of years. This made New Zealand seem way too lonely and too peaceful in the eyes of my mother. This problem kept pushing my family away from New Zealand. Thoughts rose in their heads. ''Show we go back'' stated my mother. Becuase my mother also wasn't able to find a job at first, they needed to earn money by doing the paper run, all while my mother was pregnant with me. Through stormy nights and cold mornings, they needed to earn money!
  • How New Zealand felt 5 years later! Overall New Zealand turned out to be a wonderfully beautiful country. They gave birth to 2 children (Malisha, Ryan). My family both got a job and now both my parents are studying while working.  They said that after a while they began to socialize and now are very famous throughout our Bengali community here in New Zealand!
  • Was it the right decision to migrate? Yes, it was. In the end, New Zealand turned into an amazing place for my family full of culture and opportunities.  '' When we now go to India for a holiday we feel too busy when it comes to meeting all our family''. My family found it hard at the beggining but now India just doesnt feel like home.
