Hello class. Today I will be teaching you how to use Google. You will learn techniques that will help you search for specific things.
The easiest and most efficient way to search for specific results on the web is Advanced Google Search. This allows you to make Google only show results that include what you want and don't include what you don't.
There is a trick that allows you to make these searches without going to the Advanced Google Search site. There are some commands that you can put before your search in the search bar.
Two examples of these commands are 'link:', and 'related:'. The link one shows pages that link to whatever url you type afterward. Related shows sites the are related to the url. Using these shortcuts can save you time when searching.
