The young sniper lay patiently with his rifle beside him. In the mid of a civil war he ate his first meal of the day nearly at the dawn of a new a one, he ate his sandwhich hungrily.
After the quick swish of his whiskey flask, he placed it back in his pocket and wondered whether he should smoke his cigarette or not. After all the flash could expose his position. With the risk considered, he decided to take a smoke but quickly after fell under the shot of an opposing sniper.
After taking a quick peak to spot the enemy sniper, another bullet came speedily whizzing over his head. He ducked immediately and now knew where the enemy was located
The sniper peered over yet again to spot an armoured enemy vehicle in the darkness of the streets. He spotted a woman pointing to the same rooftop that he was positioned on the man in the vehicles turret rose and the sniper quickly shot both the woman and the turret operator. Seconds after the successful takedown, another shot rang past his ears and he hit the ground while muttering a curse word.
When the sniper tried to lift his weapon to return fire, he couldn't he was hit in the forearm by the bullet that was recently fired. While addressing the wound,( A bullet logged in his forearm's bone) He poured iodine over it and wrapped it up and layer on the roof trying to fight the pain.
The sniper had come up with a plan. He was to put his cap on top of his rifle to look like he was peering over the ledge when in actuality it was his cap placed on his rifle. When the other sniper would take the bait and shoot and think he killed his enemy, the sniper would will rise and shoot him with his revolver. And, he succeeded. The man came falling down off of his perch and on to the ground beneath. The sniper made a run for it, trying to make it to inspect the body. The vehicle shot at him but ended up missing all of it's shots. And when he flipped the body over he revealed the face of his own brother.
