Hello. My name is Jackie and today we will be learning about my journey through the reproductive system.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. As you can see there are many others that are just like me. I am generated in the testes.
The testicles, or the testes, generates the sperm (I am one of the 1500 sperm cells produced per second) as well as testosterone, which helps develop the spem cells
This is the epididymis. It is in charge of transporting and storing the sperm cells produced by the testes. It allows sperm cells to mature.
We have to be cooler than the testes!
The scrotum acts like a "climate control" system for the testes. This is where we develop.
The vas deferens transfers the mature sperm to the urethra in preparation for ejaculation.
