  • "I think I might have had some faint doubts whether it was not ugly, crooked, narrow, and dirty." Pg. 270
  • Chapter 20th: Pip arrives in London to start him being a gentleman and leaving his hometown and meeting Mr. Jaggers.
  • Chapter 22: Pip is reunited with the boy who he fought in the garden, Herbert, and they talk about Estella and Miss Havisham. Pip also meets the rest of the Pockets and stays with them.
  • "We had made some progress in the dinner, when I remind Herbert of his promise to tell me about Miss Havisham." Pg.298
  • "I ventured on the liberty of asking him the question, when he stood before me, dusting his hands." Pg.355
  • Chapter 24: Pip is introduced to Mr.Wemmick who talks about Jaggers and the memorable Clients.
