  • PATHOS: He's using emotion to persuade them that Caesar did care about the people.
  • "When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept."
  • You all did see that on the Lupercal I thrice presented him a kingly crown, Which he did thrice refuse.
  • LOGOS: He is using the fact that Caesar refused the crown three times.
  • Ethos: He's using his position and what he knows to persuade the crowd that what Brutus did was wrong.
  • I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke, But here I am to speak what I do know.
