So, Jefferson, the people want to know, what is your ideas on a loose or strict way of following the constitution?
Henry Smith from New Country News
I believe that the U.S.A should use a strict view of the constitution. This means that if is not on the constitution then it is not something you should do. I also believe that most of the power should lie with the states, not with the federal government, so the states can take the government's suggestion but not have to do it.
OK, Hamilton, let me ask, most of our readers say that you have the better focus for the country in economics, can I have a few words?
I believe that the government should loan money to small business to start up, my plans project that idle people, like women and children, could go to work, if we give financial support to new businesses. I also think that we should center the economy around agriculture, trade, finance, and manufacturing. With Jefferons view of only agriculture, there could be a drought or fire, and the entire economy would be wiped out!
Last question, Jefferson, our viewers say that you have the best view on Foreign policies, can we have a few words for our audiences?
Well, I believe that America should help France because of all of their support during the American Revolution. I also think that France is a very good customer for our agricultural goods. Furthermore, I believe that we should stay as far away as we can from Britian, because they probably are not very happy with us... (Cough) Hamilton...
