Definition: a law of motion that states that an object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion with the same velocity unless acted on by an unbalanced force
Newton's First Law
Ok, I got this, I can do this
OMG, I hit it. Now what?
As the girl in blue throw the baseball, the ball was in motion, until the girl in pink used the bat to hit the baseball and stop it.
Definition: acceleration is force divided by mass
Newton's Second Law
Ready. Set. Throw!!
The two boys threw the rocks at the same time but the boy in blue's rock hit the water first because he used more force than the boy in red. So even though they threw it at the same time with the same mass, the boy in blue used more force, which causes his rock to go into the pond first. The more force he uses, the more acceleration he'll create
I can't believe your rock reached the pond before mine
