  • Shot Type: Medium/Full Shot Notes: The camera, while remaining stationary, slowly pans to the right and follows James placing the spoon, bowl and box of cereal onto the bench. The stillness of the camera reinforces the removed nature of the audience
  • Scene 1: Shot 13 (2 Seconds)
  • Shot Type: Medium/Long Shot Notes: The camera returns (rapid active zoom out) to the view of the whole kitchen and remains still as James walks to the refrigerator
  • Scene 1: Shot 14 (2 Seconds)
  • Shot Type: Medium/Long Shot Notes: Another medium/long shot which remains still and replicates surveillance - thereby rendering the audience as onlookers. James retrieves milk from the fridge
  • Scene 1: Shot 15 (1 Second)
  • Shot Type: Medium/Long Shot Notes: The camera begins as a Medium/Full Shot of the bench and via a rapid active zoom, returns to the Medium/Long Shot of the entire kitchen. James collects his bowl and spoon and takes it to sit down and eat at the table
  • Shot Type: Medium/Full shot Notes: The camera exhibits a new environment (the dining room). It remains still and again reinforces the surveillance like viewing of James. James sits down at the table.
  • Shot Type: Medium/Close Up Shot Notes: The camera zooms into James' face, revealing his shift in emotion, now happy that he has breakfast. The camera remains still and segregates the audience from the events occurring on screen.
