Storyboard Text

  • Elanoraand her tribe were travelling together to a new home. They were all excited andwere eager to get there. Before they left, Elanora had almost forgot to bringthe present that she received from her great gran which came from generationsand generations, the wooden water carrier.
  • As they arrived to stop, they went by a river to rest. There had been a drought recently and little water remained. Luckily Elanora had gotten water from the lakes before. As she sat down to rest she saw a little bilby dying from thirst.
  • So, she gave the bilby a little bit of the water from her water carrier. Then came a big dingo. It was healthy and sly, but he came up to Elanora for water. Elanora refused to give her as it was already healthy and hydrated.
  • Elanora then ran away back to her tribe. The dingo however wanted revenge. So, he followed Elanora to where they went next.
  • The tribe had to rest again for the night. Elanora headed to get more water. But as she arrived at the waterhole, the dingo stole the water carrier and ran faraway. Elanora suddenly realised and looked around. She started to cry as it was special.
  • Elanora started to cry and cry even more. She had cried so much that she could not stop. Her tears became a waterfall and it kept on flowing. Wherever she went until her new home, she cried and cried and created the waterfalls. To this day waterfalls still run as she still feels guilty for losing the water carrier.
