Sun Yat Sen was a very important figure to the Chinese people. He was a nationalist and a political leader.
At a young age Sun Yat Sen received a western secondary education. He learned to speak english and he was already thinking radical ideas.
In 1895, Sun Yet Sen went Hawaii, the united states, and England to support his revolutionary group. But it was unsuccessful.
Sun Yet Sen became the president of the republic of China. But then the Manchus wanted their General to be the leader. He was forced to step down or there will be a civil war.
The Russians asked for help to China so the Chinese could threaten Britain. Sun Yet Sen like the Russians so then he agreed to help them.
Sun Yet Sen was famous for the "Three People's Principles."
