This storyboard does not have a description.
Fertilisers in the soil are flushed into bodies of water by rainwater
Nutrients in the fertilisers enter the bodies of water and dissolve
Nutrients in the fertilisers promote the growth of the aquatic plants
The algae starts to bloom, reducing the amount of sunlight entering the body of water and preventing sunlight from reaching the plants
As the plants die, they are broken down by bacteria decomposers, using up more oxygen in the water and producing more carbon dioxide
The oxygen level in the body of water drops to the point where life is impossible. Plants and organisms all die together with the ecosystem
