This sunflower here is a millennial. He lives off of pirated movies and microwaveable foods, but now that he has run out of money from his parents, he has to learn how to make food for himself.
I'm hungry, but I'm out of Hot Pockets and cash for delivery Pizza so what do I eat?
You are an autotroph and can do photosynthesis unlike heterotrophs you millennial.
Photowhat? How do I do it and what is it?
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, the "fuel" used by all living things.
Photosynthesis happens when water is absorbed by the roots of green plants and is carried to the leaves by the xylem, and carbon dioxide is obtained from air that enters the leaves through the stomata and diffuses to the cells containing chlorophyll. The product is like a sugar. Also, we create Oxygen for other living things.
Wait what? I don't understand. Can you put it in my words?
