  • UNDERGROUND RAILROAD
  • Well, yes I escaped the horrors of slavery through the underground railroad!
  • Hello Good SIr! Are you new to the area? I haven't seen you around before!
  • MISSOURI COMPROMISE
  • Welcome to Massachusetts! Even though  the Supreme Court decided that the Missouri Compromise isn't constitutional, owning a slave here is illegal!
  • I'm just devastated that slavery still exists! I came here to join the abolitionist cause!
  • DRED SCOTT
  • Yes! I agree! I don't understand why the Southerners think slavery is okay!
  • The fact that Dred Scott was denied freedom because of the Supreme Court is unfair!
  • Tom is a runaway slave that spend years as a slave in South Carolina.  Arthur, is a fellow abolitionist who keeps in contact with all runaway slaves to ensure their safety in these tough times for America!
  • KING COTTON
  • From what I understand, the South Value their cotton production way too much and fear that the abolition of slavery will kill their business.
  • While tensions increase between the north and south, abolitionists conspire to overthrow the south.  Tom is now joining the force!
  • POSITIVE GOOD THEORY
  • They even justify slavery as for the best for slaves! They think slavery is better for blacks than freedom! How ignorant!
  • While the night time falls, the two men discuss how unfair it was that the Supreme Court found Dred Scott as property and denied his freedom.
  •
  • The two men continue to discuss how the South justifies Slavery unjustly.
  • How unfortunate...
  • Tom wasn't the only one that was beginning to detest the south! Much of the North saw the South's justification of slavery being for the positive good as unfair and unacceptable!
  • It makes me so angry! I don't want the south to be part of our nation!
