  • we then were ordered by our commander to open the hatches and take out all the chest of tea and throw them overboard...

  • Lexington and Concord
  • it seemed as if men came down from the clouds.
  • Bunker Hill
  • don't fire till you see the lights on their eyes!
  • The Boston Tea Party was a rebellion form the tea acts. Colonist dressed up as Indians and threw tea off the ships in the harbor.
  • Valley Forge
  • ..soldier were in want of everything, they had neither coats, nor hats, nor shirts, nor shoes ...
  • TEA
  • Lexington and Concord were the fist two battles in the Revolutionary War. The colonist won both battles, but the odds were bad the Lexington.
  • Camden
  • Bunker Hill battle was in June 1775. The winner in was the British. The famous quote was 'don't fire till you see the lights on there eyes!"

  • Valley Forge stands for the colonists want for freedom. The soldier could of left before their term, but the soldier stayed for the love of their country. the y also loved George Washington
  • Their number did not exceed 20 men and boys, some white, some black, and all mounted, but most of them miserably equipped.
  • The battle of Camden was in South Carolina in August of 1780. Francis Marion and Lord Corewallis were involved in the battle. The winner was the British.
  • The battle of Yorktown was th efinal battle in the Revolutionary War. It ended on October 19, 1781 when the British surrendered with 8,000 soldiers. The France and Germans helped beat the British with the Americans.
