Cassy and Emmeline successfully escaped from Legree. They were waiting to board the boat dressed as a Spanish Creole and a servant.
I remember him. He's the man from who buried Tom and set Legree straight. He was Tom's old master.
A French lady named Madame de Thoux who previously lived in Kentucky, overheard that George came from Kentucky and wanted to be his acquaintance.
