TANF ! Story board !
The family of four, Mark, Lisa, Issac, and Sana are a low-income family in need after an event happened that made them drop this low.
This program supported the children, housing and essential needs, basic food, and income for the family. They also provided training for Mark and Lisa.
This year was a financial crisis, because of this Mark got laid off his job as an office worker and eventually Lisa did too as a cashier. They watch as they're being replaced by more skilled employees.
Broke, the parents weren't able to let their children participate in field trips, sports games, and extracurricular activities because of the lack of money.
Finally they decided to apply for a government program that fits their needs. That program is TANF, a program designed to help needy families achieve self-sufficiency.
Whilst being in this program, the training eventually helped Mark and Lisa find an okay job and the children got to participate in extracurricular activities.
Thanks to the TANF program, the parents are now employed and their children do not need to worry about the uniform or trip price. Overall, the family were able to stay in good spirit because of this.
