  • Why is there war? How come it happens?
  • War is something that happened long ago. Its when people fight against each other, using military devices.
  • Why is there war? How come it happens?
  • In war, people commonly fight against each other for rights, freedom, or because they oppose something that one side approves of.
  • People are usually protecting something, such as rights and freedom for certain groups, governments, or countries.
  • War is something that happened long ago. Its when people fight against each other, using military devices.
  • For example, the Revolutionary war was all about the colonists having freedom from England's monarchy.
  • And WWII, which was countries working against Hitler and his allies, also to bring peace to the Jewish people.
  •
  • The effects the wars had were important too. The creation of a democratic republic, and the constitution, for example.
  • And the freedom that people got after the fall of Hitler's dictatorship.
  • Loss is another important component. It helped encourage a cause, to do something for those who have died, but is also still a saddening thing. Our community is shaped so that we will not suffer losses from conflicts, and also to prevent our generation from harming others.
  • Having you know about war will help prevent it from occurring again, and to help protect you and your people. It will also help you understand how the world was shaped back then, and maybe even now.
  • So, that is what life would be like without our community and elders. The people back then were very different, compared to our sameness.
