Walter Mitty was in a hurricane and took control of the plane and flew the plane out of the storm without wrecking it. Someone cannot take charge of a plane and avoid a hurricane without any damage. A tornado is very powerful and you will have some damages made to the plane but not in imagination. Imagination is supposed to be unrealistic and funny. I found this scene humorous because he somehow flew the plane out of a hurricane without any damages and that is quite impossible.
Walter Mitty saved the day in the operation room but putting a pen in the aneshtizer and saving the machine. I found this humorous because it is so unrealistic. He put an ordinary pen into a machine used during surgeries and it was fixed all of a sudden. Also in this scene he would say words that sounded like medical terms to him but in reality it meant something totally different then what he was meaning and that is quite funny to me.
The district attorney is accusing Walter of killing a man. The attorney punched a woman in court and Walter punched the attorney because he found it disrespectful that the attorney hit a man. I find this scene humorous because the attorney is blaming Walter for committing a crime but then the attorney hits a woman in court. He is trying to accuse someone at fault but then commits his own crime that he is now at fault for.
Walter Mitty stood up to the firing squad peacefully and let them kill him. I found this scene humorous because he imagined a whole firing squad coming up to him and he decided to face reality but he was happy during the scene and stood talll. I thought that was funny because he is content when he knows he is about to die.
