  • The person decides to go swimming so they fuel up on food to give them energy.
  • They use the energy from the food to be able to move through the water, which is mechanical energy.
  • The person keeps potential energy in their core, and legs when not moving as they're gliding through the water.
  • The person causes thermal energy from causing a lot of motion, warming them up from exercise.
  • The person is also creating sound energy from movement.
  • After they are done swimming, they go back home and sleep and eat to gain energy to be able to do it again the next day.
