As the war continued, more men were needed to serve as soldiers. So, more women were needed to work in factories, offices, and fields.
Signed on June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was one of the peace treaties that ended World War 1. This treaty ended war between Germany and the Allied Powers.
Later after that, the League of Nations was formed in 1920 to resolve disputes between countries.
The League of Nations was good and strong. There was finally peace again. This lasted for about 26 years.
All was good, but little did they know, a second world war was right around the corner...
