  • Mood
  • Brother's Character Traits
  • "I'm going to teach you to walk. So that i wont have to haul you around all the time."
  • Tragic. I chose the word tragic because in this scene it is showing the sadness of the author when he found Doodle dead.
  • Doodle's Character Traits
  • "Its so pretty. So pretty, pretty, pretty."
  • Light-Hearted. I chose the word light-hearted because i just thought that it was so sweet of Brother to help Doodle and to see  how much he has progressed.
  • Theme
  • Doodle! Doodle!
  • Brother is more of a Dynamic Character because it depends what gets him happy or mad for Doodle.
  • Figurative Language
  • Doodle is more of a Static Character because no matter how Brother treated him  he was always so calm and nice about it.
  • You never know how much you love someone until you lose them
  • -Simile: " .., like holding your breath." The author used this simile to show that its very hard to keep a secret.  -Simile: " ,his eyes popped round like two blue buttons." The author used this simile to show that Doodle was startled by the croaking noise .
