How Gatsby views Gatsby
How I view Gatsby
People view Gatsby as a very wealthy man but also very mysterious and suspicious. He is barely ever seen and never attends his house parties. "who is this Gatsby anyhow? Some big bootlegger?" 114 Chapter 6
Gatsby views himself as living for Daisy. He lives for her. He is in love. "The officer looked at Daisy while she was speaking, in a way that every young girl wants to be looked at some time, and because it was so romantic to me I have remembered the incident ever since." page 80 Chapter 4
I view Gatsby as a man who lives for other peoples opinion and not his. His flashiness and everything he does is to impress others, specifically Daisy.
