Hephaestus was born without a father, only his mother, Hera. He was considered lame and ugly his mother and Zeus were very angry.
He was the God of Blacksmith and Craftsman. He made most of the things the other gods used but they outcast him from Olympus.
Hephaestus married Aphrodite and they were husband and wife but....
Aphrodite cheated on him with Ares in his own house.
Hephaestus told the other gods to meet him so they can see what his wife was been up to. Meanwhile, Hephaestus crafts an invisible net so he can catch them.
Hephaestus and the rest of the gods caught Aphrodite and Ares red handed. Hephaestus never married after that and lived the rest of his life in a volcano making armor for Hercules and other metal works.
