Males you have the sex chromosome XY.
There are two sex chromosomes. Chromosomes decides whether a foetus will grow up to be masculine or feminine.
Females you have the sex chromosome XX.
After 6 weeks, the Y chromosome activates, switching on a hormone. This hormone makes males develop testes.
Without this hormone, ovaries will develop.
The male hormone, testosterone, is the hormone that makes males more aggressive.
The female hormone, oestrogen, is the hormone that makes females sensitive.
If a ball is thrown at you, your instinct is to catch it before it hits you.
Women would have needed to be able to care for needy babies.
Evolution could explain why women are more sensitive and men are more aggressive.
Men would have needed to be able to fight to get food.
