  • There the grown serpent lies. The worm that’s fled hath nature that in time will venom breed, no teeth for th’ present. Get thee gone. Tomorrow we’ll hear ourselves again.

  • Gentlemen, rise. His Highness is not well.

  • It will have blood, they say; blood will have blood.
  • Almost at odds with morning, which is which.
  • The Murderer reports to Macbeth that the assassination was successful, but Fleance escaped before they could kill him as well.
  • Macbeth returns to the banquet when he notices that the bloody ghost of Banquo is in his seat and causes a scene, startling the guests.
  • Macbeth begins to ramble about Banquo's ghost when Lady Macbeth decides to end the banquet and talk to her husband.
