  • So many people are getting the Black Plague because rats that carry disease, roam the streets, and when a flea bites the rat, the flea then gets the disease. Once the flea gets the disease, the flea starts to bite the people for blood!

  • I am going to another city to get a better job.
  • Oh no! This is leading to a decline in feudalism because less peasants are staying, for fear that they might get the plague, and to earn more money!
  • Magna Carta...
  • You Must put a seal on the Magna Carta!
  • Yes! You are making unfair rules like heavily taxing us, ignoring our traditional rights, and arresting us whenever you want!
  • Feudalism is declining because the nobles get more voice, and some power shifted to the common people and gave the king limited rights. This is an agreement between the nobles and the monarch.
  • The Growth of Markets...
  • Many towns and markets are growing! Feudalism is declining because as more markets are growing, many people are earning more money, and the nobles no longer have to stay in the same land, as the power is shifting.

  • The Hundred Years war is a war that started because the English monarchs had long claimed lands in France. The French kings disputed these claims. When Philip VI of France declared French fiefs of Edward III, the king of England, were part of Philip's own realm, war broke out.
