1941 - ALL ABOARD THE NEREID!: Papa boarding his boat and setting sail. As he's gone, a discovery that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor releases.
Papa arrives to Camp, where his family already is since he had disappeared. The Japanese were segregated Into camp because they were accused of bombing Pearl Harbor.
Kiyo, jumping up from his bed in his underwear was yelling at papa to stop being abusive towards Mother. Ever since camp Papa stressed and began to drink and become more aggressive towards his family.
"Stop it. Papa stop it!"
Camp was super labor intensive and began to grow and grow. Many Japanese were there without knowing how long it would be before they went home.
"Too many people... I want to be home already..."
And finally, in 1945, Camp was released and Japanese were set free after the accusation of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and everyone continued there lives
