Actually, we do! Strolling through the gardens you will find Koi Ponds, Cherry Blossoms, tea houses, art pieces, and even a sand garden and more.
Im thinking about going to the gardens in Portland. Do you know anything about them?
The idea for the Japanese Garden came in the late 1950's to provide people with a beautiful garden but to also forge healing and understanding with japanese ties. The site was dedicated in 1961 to a Japanese professor.
The creators of this place were the Suzhou Foregin Affaris Department and Mayor Vera Katz. This magnifecnt display opened on September 14, 2000.
The creator of the gardens were Mayor Terry Schrunk and the Portland community. Interesting fact: It wasnt open year round tell 1981.
Wow! what about the Chinese Gardens.
The gardens are called LanSu Gardens combining ancient Chinese sister cities. The garden purpose was again to show the history of Chinese gardens and to create a place to enjoy.
