Can i get a ride to the derby my friend?
One day Roald was driving to London and he suddenly finds a hitch hiker
Roald decides to pick up the hitch hiker. Roald looked at him and thought to himself that this guy has somewhat of rat face. The hitch hiker asks Roald if he can drive him to the derby. Roald says yes and they start going to the derby.
While they were going to the derby the hitch hiker peer pressures Roald to test how fast his car goes. They start going 129 and a few seconds later they hear a siren of a police car. They have to slow down and talk to the police man.
After we talked to the police Roald started questioning what the hitch hikers job was. The hitch hiker didn't reveal it in first and instead just gave out hints. Roald gave up later on. The hitch hiker decided to tell him his job. The hitch hiker was a finger smith.
The hitch hiker later shows me stuff that i own like my belt, shoelaces, watch, his driver license, a key ring with four keys on it, some pound notes, a few coins, a letter from my publishers, my diary, a stubby old pencil, a cigarette lighter, and a beautiful old sapphire ring with pearls around it.
Roald gets really surprised with all the stuff the hitch hiker took from him. The hitch hiker tells Roald that he's only going to the derby to steal money and goods from the rich people. After there done talking the hitch hiker reveals that he took the police's note book which contained Roald's licence plate and his address.
