  • Mother, Father, a radioflash from Earth, the war! Atom bombs blew up New York, now we're stranded on Mars forever!
  • Cora, come here. Look at this peach blossom, an extra petal, an extra leaf, the color the smell!
  • Its growing a third horn!
  • Come see the cow, I was milking it and I saw it, come on!
  • Sam have your eyes always been yellow?
  • Once the Bitterings land on Mars, Harry wants to head back to Earth. But when Cora convinces Harry to stay everyone starts building their houses and gardens. They even rename some canyons and valleys.
  • No, they're blue.
  • I am going to build a rocket to get back to Earth. Who wants to help me?

  • The Bitterings receive a radio flash from Earth, describing that all the rockets in the United States were destroyed.

  • After all of this happened the Bitterings were turning into martians and started thinking in a martian way, by forgetting about Earth. and moved up to the martian villas up in the hill! They left all of their things their and even called their old houses foolish!
  • 5 years later Earthmen come to say the nuclear war is over, but they find no one. But some have some ideas.
