  • I'm a trader leaving to trade goods to other villages and cities.
  • These are sewage pipes that go under people's homes, so they can have water for indoor plumbing. Ancient India invented indoor plumbing so you could use indoor toilets.
  • Summer Monsoon

  • This trader is leaving Mohenjo-Daro to trade goods with villages in Harappa.
  • This is a brahmin priest in the temple holding the holy text, known as the Vedas. The Vedas is written in Sanskrit. They are polytheistic (believes in many gods).
  • These are the monsoons (summer and winter). Summer monsoons brings moisture and heavy rainfalls. Winter monsoons are cool and dry.
  • Between 6500 and 3000 BCE, people established the first permanent farming settlements in the Indus River Valley. Unlike settlers of ancient Mesopotamia they did not depend entirely on irrigation.
  • Artisans such as weaves, potters, and metalworkers are some specialized jobs.
