This storyboard does not have a description.
We have a rich supply of tobacco.
It ensured our success, and helped us become a permanent settlement.
I was the one that "legally" brought the tobacco seeds here. While everyone was starving and lying around in pain, I took the chance and planted my seeds.
Slavery was not introduced immediately to Jamestown, it trickled in over the years. While the settlers themselves did just fine, the slaves started to work, increasing the man-power significantly. The rules weren't as harsh, and the slaves could be freed by being baptized.
The rich soil is extremely good for growing, and soon enough everyone grew tobacco.
Tobacco gave us enough profit to really start to build a town. Tobacco is one of the most desired items, so selling it isn't a problem.
It started to inspire people to leave the Old World and start a life in the New World
Jamestown is significant because it was the first successful, permanent settlement in the New World.
