Socs vs Greasers
The conflict impacts Ponyboy as a person because the Socs and the Greasers are always fighting so he gets impacted both physically and mentally. This conflict is out of Ponyboy's control. The Socs and The Greasers will always be enemies and Ponyboy cant change that. During the story the conflict progresses greatly so much that at the end of the story the two groups both decided that they will have a rumble to see who is the best. From this Ponyboy learns that great conflicts can end.
Johnny is Ponyboy's best friend. Johnny is always there for Ponyboy when he is in need. However Johnny can get Ponyboy is lots of problems aswell. For example when Johnny killed Bob, Ponyboy didn't need to do anything that he did. Sometimes Johnny does make Ponyboy's life more chalenging. In the beginning of the story Johnny was just there. In the end Ponyboy cares way more about Johnny now then he did earlier because there friendship progressed greatly.
Darry makes huge impacts on Ponyboy's life. For example when Darry hit Ponyboy. He never would have ran away. Bob would still be alive, Johnny would still be alive, Dally would have been still alive and finally the kids in the fire would have never been in danger. Finally, Ponyboy and Darry's relationship changed tremendously. In the start of the story Ponyboy and Darry hated eachother and still did until Sodapop finally gets so mad that he runs away and tells Darry and Ponyboy the truth about themselfes.
