How does blindness effect people on a day to day basis
In the book Tangerine Paul was spray painted by his brother in the eyes which damaged his eyes. When Paul goes to Lake Windsor Down middle school his mom tells the principle that Paul is blind. This ends up he has a I.E.P. which he is not able to play soccer here.
Yearly 61,000 people are effected of blindness. Theirs different kinds of blindness for example theirs Glaucoma. Glaucoma is an eye disease that can damage your optic nerve. The optic nerve supplies visual information to your brain from your eyes. Glaucoma is usually, but not always, the result of very high pressure inside your eye. Over time, the increased pressure can break down your optic nerve tissue, which may lead to vision loss or even blindness. If it’s caught early, you may be able to prevent additional vision loss.
DONT FALL IN THE SEWER
Being blind is very hard. They have to learn braille is away for the blind to read. Braille is not really a language it is more of a code for the blind. it is bumped up dots so they can feel because they cant read
Solution as of today
Braille works perfectly fine for the blind. They can still read but sometimes they want to see the beauty of life. They just want to see sometimes and it kind of stinks that they cant see anything
If we could I think we should make glasses for them. These glasses would allow the blind to see normally. they would hold the eyelids open and the lens would have so special glass so they can see.
