Storyboard Text

  • Conflict in Huck Finn
  • Miss Watson would say, "Don't put your feet up there, Huckleberry;" and "Don't scrunch up like that, Huckleberry—set up straight;" and pretty soon she would say, "Don't gap and stretch like that, Huckleberry—why don't you try to behave?"
  • In the beginning of the book, Widow Douglas and Miss Watson were tying to "civilize" Huck but he doesn't want to be "civilized".
  • call me a low down ablitionist and despise me for keeping mum
  • Huck shows here a little bit of his feelings of Jim. He knows what he is doing is wrong but Jim is his friend so he won't turn him in.
