  • The call to adventure is when the hero is in danger by something or someone. Usually the hero finds a magic item which accidentally makes the hero now have a quest.

  • The scene above relates to the novel because Percy makes a discover that he is in danger and now his mom is gone.

  • Percy encountered a Mintotaur and since Percy loved his mom the Minotaur decided to kill her so Percy is upset and yells and Sally apologized for what was happening.
