  • A small matterto make these silly folks so full of gratitude.
  • Scrooge is seeing how he felt around Christmas time when he was little and now he is regretting how he treats people during the holidays

  • "Some people would rather die"
  • With the Ghost of Christmas yet to come, Scrooge is brought to his own grave/headstone. HE realizes that if he does not hange his ways, he will die.
  • Theme
  • To any kindly given. To a poor one most.
  • Scrooge sees how generous Old Fezziwg was Fezziwig had a party with everyone in town and when the Ghost insults what he did, Scrooge defended him. This shows that Scrooge is finally changing.
  • Symbolism
  • Two men came into Scrooge's counting house asking for Charity. SCrooge says that he does not want to give them any money and actually says that he supports the awful places that they have to go for shelter. This symbolizes that Scrooge does not care for anyone but himself
  • If they'd rather die, then they better
  • This scene is showing a theme. The theme is The consequences of good doing. because the Ghost of Christmas Present is making other people happy, everyone is nicer and that makes him happy.
  • When Scrooge sees the Ghost, it has a light coming from its head. This symbolizes that it will light up Scrooge's past
  • The spirit was like a child,yet not so like a child as like an old man.
