On August 5, 1945 the atomic bomb known as the little boy was dropped on Hiroshima killing and wounding 150,00 Civilians. August 8, 1945 another bomb was dropped on Nagasaki killing and wounding 75,000 civilians. In response the Japanese surrender ending WWII
